Priyanka Chopra features in Bindass' Love Lockup as part of her promotions for Saat Khoon Maaf.

The actress will be the sutradhar to the celebrity couple, Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah, who are solving their love issues.

Rumours are rife that Bollywood firebrand Kashmera Shah is on the verge of a break-up with her longtime boyfriend Krushna (Govinda's nephew).

This comes as a surprise as the couple was going steady from quite some. In fact, they'd also made big news for their lovey-dovey lip-lock at a party some time ago.

The sudden income tax raid at her residence in Mumbai's Versova area and the presence of actor Shahid Kapoor, was a double whammy for actress Priyanka Chopra.

The actress, however, declined any tax evasion, and said because Shahid stays a stone's throw from her house, he was the only person she could think of in such an unfortunate situation.

"The only person who stays with me is my mom, who was not present at home and Shahid stays three minutes away from my place. So he was the only person I could call up then. So he was there," Priyanka told reporters at a press conference here Monday night.

Barring one shot that brings two of her screen husbands together for a fleeting moment, none of the seven actors who play Priyanka Chopra's husbands in 7 Khoon Maaf ever appear together in one scene.

"That's how Vishal (Bharadwaj) designed the projects. The seven men form seven segments in Priyanka's life, " says a source.

In fact, while shooting, Bharadwaj made sure none of the actors bumped into each other on set, and planned their schedules accordingly.

Chopra's character, Suzanna, kills each husband before moving on to the next. The director wanted a sense of continuity created using only the protagonist. "Even after the shoot was completed, none of the actors has been allowed to see a segment featuring another, " says the source.

Priyanka Chopra's spokesperson has denied rumours regarding the actress that have emerged since the Income Tax raid at her residence Monday.

Soon after the Income Tax raid, there were rumours that she has unaccounted assets worth Rs.6 crore. The following day, there was news that the IT officials had found actor Shahid Kapoor at Priyanka's house when they knocked her door at 7.30 a.m. Monday. But her spokesperson has rubbished the news.

"We deny the many malicious rumours being spread in the media on the basis of some unidentified sources, " Priyanka's spokesperson said in a press statement Thursday.

Officials found five flats at Raj Classic in Versova where she has converted three flats into one and clubbed the other two together. PC also has a penthouse and three flats which have been rented out.

Katrina Kaif's records are also being checked to verify the amount of money that she has earned through stage shows.

While Ranbir wants to promote his film Rockstar, Priyanka's motive is to make sure her film Saat Khoon Maaf gets its share of attention, too. Bryan's India concert dates are February 12, 13, 15 and 16 in Mumbai, Bangalore, New Delhi and Hyderabad respectively.

The raids were reportedly made in connection with suspected tax evasion. Sources said the Income Tax authorities were investigating whether or not the actors had paid taxes proportionate to their income.
 
The raids began at 8 on Monday morning and are expected to continue through the day.
