Of late, rumor mills are working overtime that the makers of ‘Heroine’, Madhur Bhandarkar and Ronnie Srewvala are presently hunting for an actress for their upcoming movie, which was recently shelved.

Gossipmongers are suggesting that there are a couple of actresses who are being considered for the venture, but Madhur is keen to pencil in the desi girl Priyanka Chopra as his heroine for ‘Heroine’, whereas Ronnie Srewvala is trying to rope in Kareena A source, as quoted in Mumbai Mirror, said, “When the film was shelved, owing to Aishwarya’s pregnancy, Madhur Bhandarkar went into a shell. But some he has decided to go ahead with it, and there are various names floating around - Katrina Kaif, Vidya Balan, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. But the race is now between Priyanka and Kareena.”

Apparently, Madhur has even called up Piggy Chops, who is currently in Los Angeles, regarding his film and is waiting for the actress’s reply.

And UTV’s Ronnie had tried contacting Bebo, but couldn’t talk to her, as the latter is busy with the making of ‘Bodyguard’ with Salman.

A source revealed, “Ronnie is trying to work the schedule around them so that the film can go on the floors soon. Ronnie had called Kareena but since she was busy shooting for Bodyguard with Salman Khan, they could not meet immediately.

“Priyanka is in LA and Madhur has spoken to her. He is waiting for her to get back.”

Well, now only time will tell who among the alleged rivals, Priyanka and Kareena will bag Madhur’s ‘Heroine’.

Ash’s first public appearance since her pregnancy
Latest tabloids have revealed that Madhur’s former heroine for ‘Heroine’, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is going to make her public appearance post her pregnancy at the French National Day celebrations to be hosted in Mumbai.

“She will be attending a show organised to celebrate the French National Day. There are several dignitaries and Aishwarya may make an appearance as she endorses a French brand. This would be her first public appearance since the announcement of pregnancy,” informed a source.

However, lately media was abuzz that Ash would be making her first public appearance since the declaration of her pregnancy at Vaibhavi Merchant’s musical event in the town.

But, it was only hubby Abhishek Bachchan and not Aishwarya who graced the event.

Let’s see if the Bollywood diva turns up for the French National Day celebrations this time!!
